Why we are doing this
We remember which semesters were tight
JASI was born from the belief that expert skincare should be accessible to everyone. Getting here meant training, licensing exams, textbooks, and a lot of terms where the money did not quite reach.
This scholarship is for the students in that stretch right now.
We are awarding five $500 scholarships to students in Southern California and the Las Vegas area. Awards are paid directly to your school toward tuition, required fees, and required books — which also means the award does not create a tax bill for you.
There is no cost to apply. We will not ask you to follow us, share anything, or book anything. Just tell us about your work.
Eligibility
Who can apply
You are eligible if all of the following are true.
- You are enrolled in, or accepted to, an accredited or state-licensed program for the Spring 2027 term in nursing (ADN, BSN, RN bridge), advanced practice nursing (NP, DNP), physician assistant studies, or licensed medical aesthetics, laser, or injectables training.
- You are a candidate for a degree, diploma, or state license at that program.
- You are 18 or older.
- You live in or attend school in Southern California or the Las Vegas metro area.
- You can provide written verification of your enrollment — an acceptance letter, enrollment verification, transcript, or a student portal screenshot.
Selection
What we are looking for
We are not scoring transcripts. A selection committee reads every application, and we are looking for four things: clarity about the provider you want to become, resilience and self-direction, real financial need, and evidence you are already committed to this field.
We do not consider race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, or age.
Every applicant hears from us, whether or not they are selected. We will not leave you wondering.

Questions
Before you apply
I have been accepted but have not started yet. Can I apply?
Yes. Students who are accepted and starting in Spring 2027 are eligible.
Do I need a minimum GPA?
No. There is no GPA requirement and we do not ask for your grades.
What is the video for, and will you post it?
Sixty seconds, filmed on your phone, telling us what kind of provider you want to be. It is used only to select recipients — we do not post application videos, and we delete all of them once awards are paid. If you are selected and we would like to share something publicly, we ask you separately and you can say no.
I cannot record a video. Can I still apply?
Yes. Email us at scholarship@jasiskin.com and we will find another way. It will not count against your application.
Do I have to follow JASI or post about this?
No. Nothing about this award depends on you following us, sharing anything, or becoming a client. If someone tells you otherwise, it did not come from us.
My program is a certificate, not a degree. Do I qualify?
If your program leads to a state license or a recognized credential at an accredited or state-approved school, yes. Programs that do not lead to a license or credential are not eligible.
Can I apply again next year?
We intend to run this annually. If you are still in your program, we would be glad to see your name again.
Do I have to pay taxes on this?
No, in the ordinary case. Because we pay your school directly and the award is restricted to tuition, required fees, and required books, it is structured as a qualified scholarship. If your situation is unusual, check with a tax professional.

Tell us about your work
Three short written questions and one 60-second video, about twenty-five minutes. Film the video on your phone — we are not scoring lighting or polish, and we do not post application videos.
One note: JASI clients, employees, and our immediate families are not eligible, including anyone who becomes a client before awards are made. Neither are our selection committee members or their families.
