Skin Treatment Questions
What is Aerolase?
Aerolase is a gentle, non-invasive laser that improves skin tone, texture, and clarity. It treats acne, redness, pigmentation, fine lines, and more with minimal discomfort and no downtime.
How often should I come in for Aerolase?
For best results, most patients start with a series of treatments spaced 2–4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every few months depending on your skin goals.
Is there any down time with Aerolase?
There is little downtime. You may experience slight redness immediately after, but this typically subsides within a few hours, allowing you to return to normal activities right away.
Is Aerolase safe for all skin types?
Yes! Aerolase is safe and effective for all skin tones and types, including sensitive skin, due to its unique gentle laser technology.
What is microneedling?
Microneedling with SkinPen creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen and elastin, improving texture, tone, fine lines, and acne scars.
How often should I come in for microneedling?
Most patients do 4–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance as needed.
Is there any down time with microneedling?
Downtime is minimal. You may experience redness, mild swelling, peeling, flakiness, or sensitivity. For the first 3–5 days, it's best to avoid makeup, sun exposure, and intense workouts for the first 48–72 hours.
Who is not a candidate for microneedling?
Microneedling is not recommended for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have active skin infections, or active acne breakouts in the treatment area.
What is a Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial is a non-invasive, multi-step treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts impurities, and deeply hydrates the skin with nourishing serums. It improves tone, texture, and radiance — all in one relaxing session.
How often should I come in for Hydrafacial?
For best results, most patients schedule a Hydrafacial every 4–6 weeks to maintain clear, glowing skin.
Is there any down time with Hydrafacial?
There's little downtime you can return to your normal activities right away. Some may experience mild redness for a few hours.
Who is not a candidate for Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial is not recommended for those with active skin infections, open wounds, severe rosacea, or certain allergies to treatment ingredients.
